Best Guacamole


This guacamole has taken years and many itterations to perfect. Inspired by tableseide Guac at local California Central Coast recipes,this recipe is the best and most flavorful guacamole you'll be able to make. It's a staple at every get together, party, or backyard-BBQ here in this neck of the woods. Bring this and you'll be invited back for sure!

  • 5 large ripe avocados (Or 4 JUMBO)

  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped

  • Juice from 1 lime

  • 3 TBSP finely chopped cilantro

  • 1 jalepeno, seeded and finely chopped

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 packet guacamole seasoning (mild or hot, brand doesn't matter. Usually found near avocados in grocery store OR near seasoning mixes. Rarely on the Hispanic food aisle.)

Peel and pit ripe avocados. Scoop into medium bowl, and mash with a fork. Leave some chunks but otherwise mash until smooth. Add in chopped red onion, jalepeno, cilanro, and lime juice. Stir with fork until combined. Add in powdered ingredients, and stir until fully incorporated. Serve immediately (with lime chips!) and enjoy!
